For this assignment, I created various lighting setups that reflect different techniques used in portrait photography. I looked at renders of the setups from each expression that I modeled in assignment 3.
I knew the expressions had flaws, but these lighting setups really bring them out! I'm looking forward to the remodel over spring break so I can fix all of these before the final. :-)
For this assignment, I made an animation of Mark's head, saying "happy."

I used a novel approach for my blendshapes. Instead of creating an expression for each phoneme, I followed the techniques outlined in Jason Osipa's Stop Staring.
